Rock Paintings

2020 has certainly been an emotional rollercoaster for everyone. The one positive outcome is that people have been very creative and inventive during their stay at home. My boyfriend and I were able to finally build a garden that we have been putting off for years. I wanted to spice up the garden a bit by adding some garden labels by making hand painted rocks. I am lucky enough to live next to a very rocky beach which I was able to comb for only the finest flat rocks.

Once I completed my own set of rocks, (Tomatoes, Onions, Cucumbers, Eggplant and Peas) I shared them on Instagram and got a great response! From there I received tons of painted rock requests and kept busy painting throughout the summer. I even made enough to sign up for a class that I’ve been wanting to take.

This personal project turned out to be such a great success that I plan on offering more rock commissions for the next growing season. Check out some of the finished rocks below.
